The bride, 37, will continue to use her name. She is an actress who has a recurring role as Kathy Stabler on “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit,” the NBC television series. She graduated from New York University.

She is the daughter of Linda Gillies and Archibald L. Gillies of Islesboro, Me. Her father was until 2001 the president of the Andy Warhold Foundation for the Visual Arts in New York. Her mother retired as the director of the Vincent Astor Foundation in New York.

The bridegroom, 36, is the lead writer of The Wall Street Journal’s Law Blog and reports on law for the newspaper. He graduated from Harvard and has a law degree from Fordham.

He is a son of Ellen Lattman and Stanley Lattman of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. His father retired as an owner of Norstan Apparel Shops, a company in New York that operated a chain of women’s clothing stores called Fashion Cents in 24 states.

The bride’s previous marriage ended in divorce, as did that of the bridegroom.
